This year we tried an organic chiken (Kiso Meisui-dori). It was a bit expensive, but worth the price!
A hand-made "Buche de Noel":
These days, it is hard to find tradtional style buches in Japan: most of them use fresh cream or chocolate cream. I suspect that traditional style buches are considered to be unhealthy and getting unpopular since they use butter cream. However, "real" butter cream is light and tasty so that I have decided to make one by myself.
And, yes, it WAS good :-)
